Windsor law book, 1650-1708.

With the Code of 1650 passed by the colonial government, each town had a manuscript copy to which town clerks added succeeding laws of the General Court. It is believed the first five pages, which have been removed, contained a copy of the Fundamental Orders adopted in 1638/39. Each town is believed to have owned such a volume but only two are now known to be extant.

1 volume.
